The Client
One of Australia’s largest contract manufacturer of vitamins and other over the counter products.
The Challenge
The client was facing geo-political disruption to regular supply chains of key ingredients. Replacement sources needed to be identified which could provide guaranteed supply at the quality levels demanded by the manufacturer’s major clients.
The Solution
A local and regional search was used to identify CPOs who understood the pharma and over the counter industry. This resulted in the appointment of a CPO with experience with international sourcing and QA programs guaranteeing both supply and quality.
The Impact
The CPO established new sources on as good and mostly improved terms resulting in margin improvement. QA programs were integrated into the entire supply chain to certify quality from origination to delivery.
